ECUADOR
Ecuadorians tend to be well-dressed and conservative. In Cuenca, the days are generally warm and the nights are cool enough to wear a sweatshirt. Boys should bring long-sleeved and short-sleeved collared shirts, T-shirts, pants and jeans. Girls will also want some conservative clothes to choose from. Generally, women do not wear mini-skirts, short shorts, or spaghetti straps in town. In the Galapagos, the vibe is more casual. T-shirts, shorts, swimsuits and casual beach wear are recommended on the islands. Don’t forget to pack lots of sunscreen as Ecuador is located on the equator.
